World Book Night 2014: Titles Announced

The next World Book Night is scheduled for April 23rd, 2014,l and the US branch has announced their book selections for 2014.  Looking over the list, I'm surprised at how few of the titles I've read!  Only two - Hotel at the Corner of Bitter and Sweet and Bridge to Terebithia.  (Maybe 2.5, if you include the handful of poems I've probably read from 100 Best-Loved Poems.)

I can't say that I'm particularly impressed with the list - but then again, I've read so few of them.  I was debating whether I wanted to participate next year, but I'm going to have to do some research because none of the titles stand out as something I want to hand out.
